The MAMAT was produced by Shalon Chemical Industries LTD. for Home Front Command from 1970 to 1975. It was distributed to the Israeli population during the first Gulf war.  MAMAT is an abbreviation of “mitgam migun la-taf” which translates to “babies’ defence device”.  Both bottles have the Shalon Chemical Industries LTD. symbol on the base.  Baby doll, stuffed toy dog and blanket are not original and are there for display purposes.
